Threads Primary classes break down by student age and ability. Classrooms are led by competent teachers. Science and Fine Arts Stations will be led by their own proficient teachers for each class as they rotate through, and then classes return for the Public Speaking Station.

Memory work guides will be available for purchase by the first week of classes. They are not included in tuition or fees.

All classes will memorize English phonograms. Older classes will also learn advanced spelling rules. Latin will be taught during the last 4 weeks of the school year. It is not a full reading curriculum. You will need to teach reading at home.

Students will learn foundational and useful math concepts and tools, but this component is not a full math curriculum. you will still need to teach math at home.

Science and Fine Art memory work, presented by the science and fine art teachers, will be reviewed by the classroom teachers at the end of the day.

The leadership of Threads all espouse Christian faith; we come from diverse Christian traditions and believe that we become better together in our differences. We understand each family will have their own memory work of faith.

Threads Primary Program requires that a parent or another responsible adult be in the Threads building with their student during class times on Tuesdays. We highly encourage parents of younger students to assist in his/her classroom to help the teacher as well as to be able to help your student study the material outside of class times.

Please note: Threads is NOT patterned or leveled like the public school system. Classroom behavior, class material, teaching, and homework will be more in line with the classical education style that shapes, encourages, and challenges students to give their best effort at each developmental stage.
